The CD "Sitar for the evening" was released. It was recorded in CCB on 11 October 2007. The CD is available in Fnac shops of Chiado and Colombo. In this places I made Showcases on 30th March and 12th April.

Took place yesterday at CCB with the indian tabla player Makarand Tulankar, Pandit Anindo Chatterjee disciple. The concert was recorded for a later live CD edition. On the next days with Makarand will happen another concerts and a tabla workshop.

On 11th October 2007 at 7pm, at CCB in Lisbon, I will have a concert organized by Antena 2, with a live broadcast to this radio station. The name of the concert is "Sitar for the evening". I will play two Ragas suitable to that time of the day.

Six months has passed since I arrived in Pune and celebrate the opportunity with the upload of the English version of my website. My stay has been very valuable not only from the apprenticeship but also from the contact with new people in the world of music, especially Indians and Iranians. I visited Goa.
So, I continue my journey of musical knowledge and personal enrichment.

This website was created to share my activities as sitar player in the acoustic music domain. Interesting events especially concerts will be shared. I thank the precious aid of Christo, a friend from Johannesburg that helped me to make this possible. I will remain in Pune (India) until September, when I will return to Portugal. To all a good year in 2007!
